“I cannot say enough good things about SCAL. We have been using them for more than 25 years. The workmanship is first rate and the communications process is better than any other contractor relationship I know of. ” – Patrick Flinn & Karen Hegtvedt
This outdated kitchen needed updating, and during the process we decided to remove a wall and open up the space to an adjacent sitting room with backyard views. This change allowed for more light, an expanded kitchen space, and a more comfortable floor plan. Black and white vinyl floors were replaced with hardwoods to match the rest of the house. A custom metal inlay design was incorporated into the painted gray perimeter cabinets as well as the charcoal stained island reflecting the desired modern style. Glass backsplash tile, stainless cabinet hardware, honed granite perimeter countertops, a white quartz island counter, and blue glass pendant lights are all finishes that combine beautifully. Efficient storage solutions like the hidden phone charging outlet meet the homeowners’ specific needs. The overall result is a beautifully updated kitchen with greatly improved functionality, efficiency and comfort.
