This 1920's bungalow kitchen had previously been renovated in a style inconsistent with the character of the home. The finishes were outdated, and the lack of efficiency and function frustrated the homeowners who loved to cook. We left all the walls and windows in place to preserve the original exterior as required in this historic neighborhood and refinished the existing hardwood floors. Stained cabinets and solid surface countertops were replaced with painted inset cabinets and durable quartz countertops made to look like marble. Classic white backsplash tile, paneled appliances, furniture feet, pendant lights consistent with the style of the home, and the exquisite LaCanche range with coordinating hardware imported from France complete this successful design.
