The existing open deck was not large enough for the comfortable outdoor living and eating area the homeowners desired. We rebuilt the deck using ipe wood - decreasing the deck area while leaving plenty of room for the grille and built steps down to a concrete paver patio. Above the patio, we built a cedar arbor that defines the outdoor living space with plenty of room for a dining table and sitting area. The natural finishes blend the structure into the beautiful backyard landscape. Wall sconces provide ambient lighting for evening dinner parties, and the ceiling fan helps keep the temperature comfortable. The new arbor creates the prefect transition between the home and backyard and gives the homeowners opportunity to enjoy comfortable outdoor living.
