Before/After Floorplans

The kitchen had been renovated previously, and the new owners were not happy with the overall layout and style.  We opened up the kitchen area to the family room and incorporated the butler’s pantry space in order to create and open and comfortable kitchen.  We centered the cook top and vent hood between two new windows, creating a wonderful focus from the adjacent rooms.  A large center island provides valuable storage, countertop surface, and seating space.  The bar area and the cookbook/mail cabinet are integral parts of the space, but are out of the way of the main work triangle.  The overall result is a beautiful, spacious and wonderfully functional kitchen that reflects the clients’ tastes and improves the feeling and character of the entire first floor.
