The previously renovated kitchen did not reflect the style or quality of this beautiful 1920's home. The homeowners wanted a space that better matched their personality and functional needs. Instead of a separate breakfast area, we used the entire space for the kitchen, incorporating a large center island for seating. We also opened the new kitchen to the adjacent dining room with a large, cased opening making both spaces feel bigger and more inviting. The quartzite countertops are a visual highlight which compliments the custom white cabinets, reclaimed heart pine flooring, handmade backsplash tile, apron-front sink, and clear glass pendant lights perfectly. The new kitchen design ties together modern conveniences with authentic period details to make this kitchen a wonderful feature of the home.
