Before/After Floorplans

This screened porch project was part of a larger scope that included a kitchen renovation and breakfast room addition. The porch design helped open up the interior spaces in the clients' home to their backyard. The style of the screened porch compliments the 1900's Victorian home and maintains the dramatic ceiling heights existing inside. The wood finishes used are a nice balance between natural cedar and paint to match the rest of the house. The painted bead board ceiling is a detail reflective of the character of the home and helps add a finishing touch to the porch. With the high ceiling and tall screen panels, the porch provides generous amounts of natural light to the kitchen and breakfast areas and is a wonderful transition between the interior of the home and the outdoors.
