Before/After Floorplans

This renovation of this 1920's bungalow included remodeling the kitchen, primary bathroom, and adding a small addition to house a bathroom and laundry room. These spaces did not reflect the style or quality of this historic home and did not match the homeowner's functional needs. As part of the kitchen remodel, we combined the existing kitchen and breakfast area into one large kitchen featuring a beautiful island with seating space. We also opened the new kitchen to the adjacent dining room with a large, cased opening, making both spaces feel bigger and more inviting. The addition at the back of the home was poorly built and housed an inefficient bathroom and small laundry closet. We replaced the addition with a slightly larger one and designed a bathroom with separate vanity and bathing areas. The new design allows for great flexibility and ample storage. The laundry closet was replaced with a spacious, functional laundry room. By replacing the swinging door with a space-saving pocket door at the primary upstairs bathroom, were able to expand the vanity, add a second sink, install a tall linen cabinet, and replace a small tub with a large shower. The renovated spaces greatly improved the function, quality, and style of this home and will be enjoyed for many years to come.
