Before/After Floorplans

The kitchen in this late nineteenth century farmhouse had been poorly renovated in the 1960’s. The finishes, appliances and flooring lacked quality and were outdated. The low ceilings and stained paneling made the space feel dark and uninviting. Our job was to transform this space into a bright, beautiful kitchen offering all of the modern conveniences while achieving a timeless look.  We incorporated the adjacent utility room into the new kitchen design.  Larger windows were installed, the ceiling was raised, and the cased opening to the dining room was widened. Wood floors replaced the vinyl to match the existing floors throughout the house. Classic white cabinets with a white tile backsplash brightened the space. The charcoal stained island and honed marble countertops were perfect compliments to the renovated kitchen.
