Before/After FloorplansThe customer asked us to convert their basement into a living space with one primary request: that it not look like a basement. The project included a family room, exercise room, office, workroom and bathroom. The design incorporated period detailing, such as interior trim and proportionate volume spaces, reflecting the character of the existing 1910's home. The custom-built curved handrail is an example SCAL's attention to detail.
