These clients wanted to renovate the master bathroom in their beautiful early 1900's home. The bathroom had previously been renovated, but the cramped space had outdated fixtures and finishes. The new design needed to be consistent with the details of this historic home that included 11'-0" ceilings, heart pine flooring, tall windows and doors, and uniquely detailed moldings. We incorporated flooring, cabinetry, door and cabinet hardware, marble countertops, and lighting to match original detailing throughout the house. The pedestal sink, medicine cabinet, claw foot tub, traditional tile and wainscoting were chosen to reflect a more classic look. Reusing the uniquely tall and detailed existing doors was just one more step to help tie the new design in with the original home for a successful renovation.
