Inman Park Kitchen Remodel

“Amanda never tells you what she wants you to have but encourages you to describe what you like. She can then refine your ideas. ”  –  Ken Gibbs

Project Highlights

  • Bungalow galley kitchen
  • Marble backsplash tile
  • Concealed laundry storage

Before/After Floorplans

The kitchen in this historic bungalow was outdated and inefficient. The refrigerator blocked beautiful backyard views, and the exposed laundry area looked cluttered. With cabinetry on only one wall, there was very little storage or counter workspace. We relocated the refrigerator to the inside corner to maximize light and backyard views. Cabinetry was installed on two walls to create a true galley kitchen with more storage and counter space. A tall pantry cabinet and laundry closet provided necessary storage and eliminated previously cluttered areas. Shaker style cabinets, quartz counters and marble backsplash tile updated the kitchen with a bright and classic look. The stainless steel appliances and Marmoleum floor add a contemporary touch and splash of color. Wine storage adjacent to the refrigerator was another creative use of space in this small but very efficient kitchen.
