“The designer did a great job of recommending design items which made the kitchen a better functioning room. The whole process went smoothly because the owner stayed in touch with me. I thought it was a great benefit to have a project manager whom I could call at any time with my concerns.” – Donna S.
The small kitchen in this ranch home was outdated and lacked sufficient storage and counter space. By removing the wall between the kitchen and adjacent dining room, we were able to expand the kitchen area. We relocated the side door to allow for continuous cabinet space and included a peninsula with seating to replace the previous breakfast area function. White floor tile was replaced with hardwood flooring to match the rest of the house. The natural cherry cabinets, light granite countertops and slate backsplash tile are finishes that complement each other beautifully. The removed wall allows for light into the space from the existing front windows, and flanking cabinetry provides valuable pantry storage. This successful renovation greatly improved the efficiency of the kitchen and is now a focal point of the home.
