Before/After Floorplans

The clients asked us to return the front facade of their 1940's home back to its original appearance while adding a new flare. The new look was to include a more attractive covered entry and converting the existing screened porch into a sunroom. We removed the aluminum siding from both front gable ends, rebuilt the large gable with stucco and batten using the original pattern, and rebuilt the small gable end to match. We replaced the existing covered entry, mimicking the curved detail of the two gables and accenting the newly refinished front door. The existing screened porch walls were removed, new half walls were built, and double hung windows matching the original windows were installed to create the sunroom. The small window in the gable, copper gutters, diagonal T and G v-groove siding, trim and paint details were all nice finishing touches.
