“When we started our renovation and told people how long it would take and how much it would cost, they all laughed and said to add at least 15% to each of the estimates. We had the last laugh when our project ended on the exact date specified and was even under-budget!” – Michelle and Jim Reiner
The outdated kitchen, breakfast room and surrounding area in this home felt cramped, inefficient and choppy. The homeowners wanted a larger kitchen with a “rustic-fell” that also offered modern conveniences and a comfortable space for their growing family to gather. By opening the kitchen to the adjacent breakfast and family rooms, we were able to create a larger kitchen space as well as comfortable eating and sitting areas. The large center island resembles a rustic furniture piece and provides seating and valuable counter space. A beautiful copper vent hood centers between two windows to create a perfect focal point. The renovation not only gives the family a highly functional and efficient kitchen, but it also creates a wonderful overall space where the homeowners spend most of their time.
