These homeowners wanted to make their raised patio a more comfortable place to sit and enjoy the outdoors. We built a screened porch addition over the patio with a vaulted roof to allow for maximum light and back yard views. Custom sliding screen doors were installed as a space savings measure to allow for furniture layout options. Stone flooring was installed and carried through to the adjacent grilling patio. Cedar framing on the porch was the perfect complement to the natural stone. On one side of the porch, we built steps down to an open deck creating a comfortable connection to the back yard. Existing French doors open to the new porch making the interior space feel larger and creating the ability to bring the outside into the home all year long.
